Although a skillful ninja, Yuffie is prone to sea and air sickness and shows signs of kleptomania. She has dark-brown eyes and black hair which is always tied back. She is a ninja and a thief, wielding an fūma shuriken. She rather short, standing at 5'2", but she has a very cocky and rude personality and at times can be aggressive and a bit of a tomboy.
